AWC Audio Player

Extract and preview audio streams from GTA V AWC containers with the built-in Vehicle Editor playback controls.

AWC Player extracts audio streams from an .awc container into temporary files and plays them through the application's audio controls.

Use the player

  1. Open AWC Player.
  2. Click Browse and choose an .awc file.
  3. Wait for decoding to finish.
  4. Click Play on a track or double-click its row.
  5. Use the audio controls for play/pause, seeking, and volume.
  6. Leave Auto-play next enabled to play the following track automatically.

The counter displays the active track index and total. The playing row is highlighted.

Temporary files

Decoded files are intended only for playback. Leaving AWC Player pauses audio, clears the source, and removes temporary decode output. Use a dedicated audio workflow if you need to retain or edit extracted tracks.

No tracks or decode errors

  • The container may not contain supported streams.
  • The file may be encrypted, corrupted, or use a codec/structure unsupported by vgmstream.
  • Confirm that the file is an AWC and is not locked by another application.
  • Try Settings > Clear Cache, reopen the application, and decode again.

AWC Player does not modify the source file.
