Terms of Service
The agreement for using 5mdev. It protects members’ ownership, sets marketplace boundaries, and establishes enforceable community standards.
Effective and last updated · August 19, 2026
1. Agreement and eligibility
These Terms form an agreement between you and the operator of 5mdev.com regarding the Service. By creating an account, using an OAuth provider to continue, publishing content, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Community Guidelines, and policies referenced here.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter this agreement. If you use 5mdev for a company, community, or server, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization. Do not use the Service if applicable law prohibits you from doing so.
2. Accounts and security
Provide accurate account information, keep it reasonably current, and maintain one account identity that does not impersonate another person or organization. You are responsible for activity under your account and for protecting your password, email, OAuth accounts, and recovery channels.
Notify us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access. We may require verification before restoring access or changing sensitive account information. Accounts and usernames are not property and may be renamed, restricted, or reclaimed to prevent impersonation, confusion, or infringement.
3. Your content and the license you grant
You retain ownership of content you create. By submitting content to the Service, you grant 5mdev a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, format, display, distribute, and technically adapt that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, promote, and improve the Service. This license allows normal functions such as previews, search results, backups, moderation, and display across devices.
You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit the content and grant this license. The license ends when content is deleted, except for reasonable backup periods, material already shared by others, legal or safety retention, and content needed to document enforcement or disputes.
4. Acceptable use
You must follow the Community Guidelines. You may not use 5mdev to distribute malware, credential stealers, destructive code, unauthorized cheats or exploits, stolen or leaked resources, fraudulent offers, spam, harassment, threats, doxxing, unlawful content, or instructions primarily intended to compromise systems or evade legitimate access controls.
You may not scrape or harvest personal information, bypass rate limits or access controls, probe vulnerabilities without written authorization, interfere with the Service, automate abusive activity, misrepresent verification, manipulate reviews or engagement, or use the platform to violate another service’s rules or applicable law.
5. Community discussions and code
Forum posts, snippets, answers, and reviews are supplied by members, not endorsed technical, security, financial, or legal advice from 5mdev. Evaluate and test code safely before using it. Never paste production credentials, license keys, personal data, or private source code you do not have permission to share.
6. Jobs and developer services
5mdev provides discovery and communication features; it is not an employer, staffing agency, party to member contracts, or guarantor of identity, skill, availability, payment, delivery, tax treatment, or legal compliance. Posters and applicants are responsible for due diligence, written scope, milestones, ownership, licenses, payment protection, tax obligations, and compliance with employment or contractor laws.
Listings must be accurate and may not conceal material terms, request unpaid speculative work deceptively, or direct members to suspicious downloads or payment methods. Never send passwords or unrestricted production access through a public listing.
7. Script resources and licenses
Publishers must accurately state whether a resource is free or paid, identify the provider, describe material requirements, and provide a license where appropriate. “Trusted,” “verified,” ratings, or moderation status are community or platform signals—not a warranty that a resource is secure, compatible, lawful, supported, or fit for a particular purpose.
Buyers and downloaders must review the publisher’s license and external provider terms. Do not redistribute escrowed, leaked, stolen, or otherwise unauthorized code. 5mdev may hide links or resources while investigating malware, copyright, fraud, or safety reports.
8. External links, payments, and disputes
Purchases, downloads, messages, contracts, and payments may occur through third parties such as Tebex, GitHub, Google Drive, Discord, or a publisher’s contact channel. Those transactions are between you and the relevant member or third party. Their terms, privacy rules, fees, refunds, chargebacks, and dispute processes apply.
5mdev does not currently process marketplace payments or hold funds in escrow. We are not responsible for external content or availability, but reports about scams, malware, or misleading listings may be considered for platform enforcement.
9. Moderation and enforcement
We may review reports and public content; restrict reach or features; hide, label, or remove content; suspend or terminate accounts; preserve evidence; and cooperate with valid legal requests when reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms or protect the Service and community. We are not obligated to monitor every item or resolve private contractual disputes.
Enforcement may consider context, severity, intent, history, risk, and available evidence. We may take immediate action for urgent safety, malware, fraud, or security risks. To appeal, contact [email protected] with the account, content, decision, and relevant context.
10. Intellectual property complaints
Respect copyright, trademarks, licenses, confidentiality, and other rights. Rights owners or authorized agents may submit a notice under our Copyright Policy. We may remove or restrict material and take action against repeat or serious infringement.
5mdev branding, interface, original site content, and software are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant a right to use our branding in a way that implies sponsorship, partnership, or endorsement.
11. Service changes and availability
We may add, change, pause, or discontinue features and may impose reasonable limits to protect reliability or security. We aim to preserve member content and availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, permanent storage, or compatibility with every device, framework, external provider, or FiveM update. Keep independent copies of important code and content.
12. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service and all member content are provided “as is” and “as available.” 5mdev disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. We do not warrant member identity, listings, code, reviews, employment outcomes, purchases, or external services.
Nothing here excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, 5mdev and its operator, personnel, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or opportunities; server downtime; malicious or incompatible code; member disputes; or external transactions arising from the Service.
Where liability cannot be excluded, aggregate liability for claims related to the Service will not exceed the greater of USD 100 or the amount you paid directly to 5mdev for the Service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. This limit does not apply where prohibited by law.
14. Responsibility for claims
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend and indemnify 5mdev and its operator against third-party claims, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your content, listings, transactions, unlawful use, infringement, or material breach of these Terms. This does not require indemnification for 5mdev’s own unlawful conduct and does not limit non-waivable consumer rights.
15. Ending use
You may stop using the Service and request account deletion. We may suspend or terminate access for material or repeated violations, legal requirements, security risks, or conduct that creates substantial harm. Provisions that by their nature should survive—including ownership, licenses already relied upon, dispute terms, disclaimers, liability limits, and enforcement records—remain effective.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect product, legal, or safety changes. The updated date will be posted above, and material changes may receive additional notice. Continued use after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance where allowed by law; if you do not agree, stop using the Service.
17. Governing rules and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable where the operator of 5mdev is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, while preserving mandatory rights and forums available to consumers in their home jurisdiction. Before filing a formal claim, please contact us and allow a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue informally. Nothing restricts a right to contact a regulator or seek urgent legal relief.
18. General terms and contact
If a provision is unenforceable, it will be adjusted or removed only to the minimum extent necessary and the remainder will continue. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer this agreement without consent; we may transfer it as part of operating or restructuring the Service. These Terms and referenced policies are the agreement about the Service.
